Lonewolf pickup is a pickup shop for bass guitars. Founded in 2023, located in Bangkok. The main aim is to give bass players the option to buy high-quality pickups that meet international standards. at a reasonable price
Our pickups replicate every material from the past. Flatwork coils, magnets, pushback cables, and even solder leads.
All pickups are hand wound on our pickup winder (scatterwound). Next we have planned the classics for the Tele and Strat, and a few P-90 pickups will follow later, and of course the basses.
Our Story
Lonewolf pickup started as a humble, one-man shop in Bangkok. Passionate about bass and tone, we began repairing broken pickups from local music stores.All pickups are hand wound on our pickup winder (scatterwound). Next we have planned the classics for the Tele and Strat, and a few P-90 pickups will follow later, and of course the basses.
The pickups that graced the Stratocaster design when it was launched in 1954 set the precedent. Being a great believer in prototypes, Leo provided Bill Carson with several for road-testing and, according to George Fullerton, the prototype design that went into production was chosen by Bill because they “had the most hair on their chest”.
